Reports on suspension of the Athenian League.

At a meeting of one of the most important Amateur Leagues in the metropolitan district, the Athenian League, it was decided that the competition should temporarily cease. In this League the Old Kingstonians F.C. were taking part for the first time.

This is the only competition in which the O.K.'s are at present running, the Athenian League, into which the club was admitted after its signal successes of last season, having decided at a meeting on Thursday night to cease operations. This decision was carried by the casting vote of the chairman, Mr. C. D. Crisp.

The draw for the first round for the F.A. Amateur Cup, for which the O.K.'s entered, as usual, has been postponed until October 31st, a large number of clubs haying withdrawn from the contest.
