Report on Old Kingstonians' prospects from Surrey Advertiser dated 2nd September 1914.

Old Kingstonians.
Although having lost the services of Cock, who has signed professional forms for Huddersfield, Gibson, who has left the district, and Franklin, who is a colour-sergeant in the Royal Fusiliers, the Old Kingstonians will still be able to put a strong eleven into the field. Of course, the loss of three such good players will have an affect, especially during the coming season, when the club have to face a stronger opposition in the Athenian League than they did in the Southern Surburban League. However, the club has a good number of players on its list. With the exception of those named, all last year's players are available, and a prosperous season is anticipated by the executive.
