Report on Sid Chandler war duties from Surrey Advertiser dated 16th September 1914.

Sid Chandler, last season's captain of the Kingston FC., who has joined the 6th Imperial Service Battalion, East Surrey regiment, now at Canterbury, has been appointed to lay out the football ground there for an inter-company football competition for the battalion. He is also responsible for the selection of a team of recruits to meet the battalion team at the end of this week. See report in original format.
