Dark Grey shading means some doubt on name or initials, Light Grey no full name.

Includes 2 games where the team is not known and 3 others where the full team is not known as well as some friendlies. See First team results for details.

There are insufficient reserve team games where a team is available to compile totals- see Reserve team Results for matches where a team or partial team is available.
Players not listed above who are confirmed to have played for the Reserves are as follows:
G. F. Hawkins, A. McDonald, Frank Williams, P. Williams, C. H. Perry, A. Chilvers, A. T. Greenwood, Olden, R. Turk, F. Turk, H. Vincent, Edwards, W. Fish. B. Johnson, Dorn, C. Keene.
Players listed in expected teams who may have played in a game where a team was not listed in the report on the game include H. Short, Stevens, F. Burton.

Hutchison- very often listed as B. Hutchinson in this season but known as Henry Hutchison in later seasons which seems likely to be the same player but not impossible there were two players with similar names.
King was often given the initials of A.
Foster often had inititals of E.H.
Andrews- one mention of him as Eb (perhaps short for Ebenezer) but the report isn't entirely clear that they were talking about him, although not obvious it could have been anyone else.
Baker is assumed to be Jack who played in previous seasons, although had never played in goal before which was where that player played in his two appearances.
White- was listed as J. White in this season but assumed to be the same player as Frank White who played in the following season.
It's not obvious whether Sermon, Sturt and Keffer may be names for a substitute or their real names.

It is possible there were two different Williams playing for the Reserves with mentions of Frank Williams and P.C. Williams in line ups and P.C. mentioned in attack with Frank
mentioned in defence but there are too few games to be sure and never a time when both were in the same line up.
