The
annual general meeting of the Kingston-on-Thames Association F.C. was
held on Monday evening at the Cricketers' Inn, when the secretary's review
of the past season showed that the first eleven out of 25 matches had
won 11, lost 10, and drawn 4; while the second eleven had won 10 out of
16, the others being lost. The financial statement was not a favorable
one, there being a deficit of about six guineas. However, the president,
Mr. R. N. Ferguson, came forward with a handsome donation, and others
followed his example, with the result that a good sum was made up, which
with the outstanding subscriptions, should clear off the deficit, and
enable the club to start next season free from debt. The officers for
next season were elected.
