KINGSTON WANDERERS 2ND v. ST. MARGARET'S 2ND (A).-
These teams met on the Fairfield on Saturday. Neither side was fully represented only nine members of each club being present. A pleasant and even game was won by the Wanderers by three goals to two. St. Margaret's say that the match ended in a draw, each side scoring two goals, but it is possible that the Wanderers will claim a third goal which was kicked after the whistle had been blown in answer to an appeal for offside. This goal of course is disputed by St. Margaret's. The attempt by the Wanderers to run two teams has not been very successful, and no more second eleven fixtures will be undertaken this season.

Kingston Wanderers' 2nd v. St.Margaret's 2nd.-

Played on the Fairfield on Saturday. Each team was short of its full complement, only nine a-side playing. The game was of a very even nature and eventually terminated in favour of the Wanderers by three goals to two. The attempt by the Wanderers to run two teams has not met with the success anticipated, and no more 2nd XI. fixtures will be undertaken this season. The 2nd XI. have played six matches, of which 2 were won, 2 lost, and 2 drawn.

Report from Kingston & Richmond Express dated 7 Mar 1891- see report in original format.

"Official" results in end of season summaries, printed in local newspapers, give this as a 3-2 win although clearly this was disputed by St. Margarets.
