KINGSTON
WANDERERS v. EVERSLEIGH (A).-
The Wanderers journeyed to Balham on Saturday four short but managed to
pick up a sub to keep goal. The result was that after the first half the
hard work began to tell and the home team put on eight goals to nil. The
goal keeper was quite a novice, so that only straight shooting was necessary
to score. This is the first time this season the Wanderers have suffered
such a defeat, and every endeavour should be made to prevent a recurrence
of such a disaster.
Wanderers; sub, goal; Peck and Churchill, backs; Richards and Lloyd, half-back;
Priestly, Kemp and Ocock, forwards.
