Hampton Court & East Molesey 4-0 Kingston Wanderers (HT: 1-0)

KINGSTON WANDERERS V. HAMPTON COURT AND EAST MOLESEY (A).-
Played at Hampton Court on Saturday in a drenching rain that continued throughout the game. The Wanderers, who were without their regular centre forward, kicked off, and during the early portion had the best of the game, several opportunities to score being lost owing to the condition of the ground. At half-time the score was 1-0 in favour of Hampton Court.
In the second half the home team played somewhat rough, and being much the heavier team wore the visitors down, and scored three more goals, thus winning by four to none. In fairness to Lanham, the visitors' goalkeeper, it should be mentioned that the last two goals were shot in darkness, and when he was standing ankle deep in water. The home forwards played much the better game.
Wanderers: Lanham, goal; Macdonald and Peck, backs; Churchill, Lloyd, and Richards, halfbacks; Ocock, Tapping, Centre, Howard, and Kemp, forwards.
