Reports on scratching of Polytechnic reserve match scheduled for 26th January 1889 and threat to cancel all remaining reserves fixtures.

SAXONS (B TEAM) v. POLYTECHNIC SCHOOL (A).- This match was scratched, the Saxons being unable to raise a team. The Secretary wishes to state that unless the members of this team manifest a little more interest in the club than they have done since Christmas, he will be obliged to cancel the remaining fixtures.
