Saxons 11-0 Streatham Bees (HT: 7-0)

Wood (3), Dalgetty (3), Jones, P. Marsh (4).

Saxons (A TEAM) v. STREATHAM BEES (A).-
Played at Oil Mill-lane, Kingston, on,Saturday, when the Saxons proved far too good for their opponents and won by 11 goals to nil. About two minutes from the start, Woods scored with a beauty from the right wing, Dalgety added three in quick succession and Woods, Jones, and Marsh each had a look in. On crossing over the Bees showed up better and Briscoe put in two very good runs, but being badly supported could not score. In the last quarter of an hour the Saxons were again busy Marsh scoring three more goals and Woods one. The Bees were sadly lacking in combination but Briscoe and J. Barnes worked hard. It should be stated that their regular backs failed to put in an appearance. Woods and Dalgety, who appeared for the first time for the Saxons, played a very good game on the right, and Marsh was very busy in the centre. Sides:- Saxons: W. H. Chapman, goal; R, J. Sivers, J. Bicknell, backs; E.Sayers, C. Collins, N. J. Ray, halves; G. Woods. H. Dalgety, P. Marsh, G. W. Jones, and W. Goldring, forwards. Bees: W. Baker, goal; A. Barney, G. Bayliss backs; P. Salisbury, F. Barnes, A. Wolff, halves; W. Jeffery, A. Walker, E. Jeffery, J. W. Barnes and H. J. Briscoe, forwards. Umpire, W. G. Carn.
